What is Affiliate Advertising?
Affiliate Advertising is a form of performance-based marketing where you, the “Publisher”, earn commissions on qualified sales made by one of your website visitors. By referring your site visitor/customer to us, the “Advertiser” or “Merchant”, you profit off any qualified sale that is made. How will you know that the orders came from me?
All links from your site to any of the Build.com stores contain a unique identifier that tracks when a user comes to us via your customized link, so that we know to credit you when a sale is made. If you attempt to alter the links that you pull from your Network account in any way, your tracking could be lost, resulting in lost commissions to you.
